The Songs The Songs

Christian Aviation Ministries is excited to announce our first Candidate to the mission field! David and Hyun Jung Song and their son Christian will be candidating with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in July. David is having his Technical Evaluation with MAF this May. David has a B.S. in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, his Airframe and Power plant Certification from Sierra Academy of Aeronautics and his Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Seminary. David and Hyun Jung are members of Oakland Korean American Community Church in Oakland, CA where David is currently serving as a bilingual Youth Pastor. They both have a heart for evangelism and missions and are excited to reach the mission field with MAF.

Christian Aviation Ministries will support the Song’s by making monthly payments on their education and aviation training debt of $40,000 while they serve in the mission field with Missionary Aviation Fellowship. This will enable the Songs to reach the mission field in an expedited 1 year time frame. Since MAF requires their missionary aviators to be debt free, the Songs would not have otherwise been able to serve if not for Christian Aviation Ministries and its supporters like you!

Thank you for your continued prayer and financial support of Christian Aviation Ministries. We ask your prayerful consideration of ongoing monthly financial support to bless David Song and other missionary aviators who would not otherwise be able to serve in the mission field due to training debt.

Christian Aviation Ministries is excited to announce its second candidate! Cliff and Kari Hunting and their family will be starting with New Tribes Missions Aviation (NTMA) in August 2008. The Hunting’s have three children: Sean, 8 years old; Haley, 5 years old; and Kylie, 1 year old. Cliff and Kari have been training for missionary aviation for several years and are excited to finally start with New Tribes in August.

Both Cliff and Kari were New Tribes Missionary Kids growing up. Cliff grew up in Senegal and Indonesia as his father was a missionary pilot for New Tribes Missions Aviation. Kari grew up In West Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia where she and her family spent 17 years among the Beginci Tribe as church planters.
Please remember the Huntings in your prayers!

Christian Aviation Ministries will support the Hunting’s by making monthly payments on their education and aviation training debt of $20,000 while they serve in the mission field with New Tribes Missions Aviation. This will enable the Huntings to reach the mission field in an expedited 2 year time frame. Since NTMA requires their missionary aviators to be debt free, the Huntings would have not otherwise been able to serve if not for Christian Aviation Ministries and its supporters like you!
